Mordernization of Hijabs Fashion

Hijab word means 'cover'. Wearing hijab fashion is a local clothing tradition of islamic religion. In mordern world, with fashion taking a new edge and increasing revolution in fashion, there is a new trend in hijabs fashion with the aim to give an altogether different look to encourage women to wear hijabs and to satisfy the needs of the new generation women.

Hijab is generally referred to as a modest dress in general with a head scarf. It is the requirement to cover body loosely all over leaving face, hands and feets. There are local variations in wearing hijabs across the world: the long Abaya gowns of the Gulf region, the Jilbab in Syria and Jordan, and the Burqa in Afghanistan. In Iran, there is the Chador.

However, Muslim women of newer generations prefer to wear hijabs in a different way with the more designer look. Many designers haven given a complete new look to hijabs, abayas and kaftans. Not only this, combining muslim dress with english vintage makes it look more classier.
This eventually results in more variety for Muslim women. Not only this, it has also increased the desire of women to wear hijabs and abayas.

The challenge had always been to keep the style and simplicity of islamic clothing together in a perfect combination. These fashionable mordern hijabs are no more plain with less pattern work, now you will find hijabs with bright and vivacious colours, decorating with embellisments and loads of patterns to go on. To complete the mordern look, there are hijab pins to give extra style to your hijabs.

One of the marketing and design student from Bogota, Columbia said "Instead of making women feel proud of their Muslim identity they make women feel like they should try to imitate and look like the these models.”
